Staying Organized in your Home Office

Before you tackle anything on my to-do list, always take the time to organize your space. No one completely thrives in chaos and confusion. The trick is in controlling the clutter. Start with paper, the main one to blame; file, recycle or even shred papers and mail every day in order to keep the mounds from forming. Tired of pictures on your wall? Fabric panels are super simple and can be bought or custom made by you. Not only can it be a quick project, but they are easy to make and definitely inexpensive! What is even better is that most people have extra pieces of cloth lying around the house that they don’t know what to do with; you can use all different types of fabric like old tablecloths, drapes, or even towels. Fabric stores also have a variety of patterns and colors that will surely cater to your individual look that you are going for.

Since we’re in the midst of spring and summer is already on its way, what better time to talk about one of our favorite colors: turquoise! The beautiful, vibrant blue-green shade brings to mind crystal clear tropical waters and exotic locations. Great word associations, if you ask us!
